Garage
Inventory (Past & Present)
I've had plenty of vehicles in my life and I've enjoyed each one of them for various reasons. I've had vehicles that I think I spent more time under the hood than actually driving the car and I've had vehicles that never gave me an ounce of trouble. I've had vehicles that drove smooth and got 40 mpg and I've had vehicles that could pull tree stumps out of the ground and drank fuel like an Irishman drinks whiskey. Follow the links to read a little story about them all.

Education & Professional Certifications
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in University Studies with a concentration in Leadership in Technical Environments from the University of Tennessee. Graduated in May 2005 with a GPA of 3.58. I first began taking college courses in the U.S. Army when I was stationed in Germany. I took a handful of Law Enforcement classes from the Europe campus of Central Texas College. These classes were Criminal Investigations I & II and Street Survival. If I had stayed in the Army I would have completed an Associate's in Law Enforcement. Upon exiting the Army I enrolled at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. Originally my major was Civil Engineering Technology. After the first couple of semesters I changed my major to Sociology. Things happen in life and I found that leaving college after two years without a degree was the next step for me and I entered the technical workforce. After a few years, say about 5, my wife convinced me to finish my degree. But now I was established, needed to work full time, and with an often unpredictable schedule. Non-traditional study was the route for me but I wanted it from a traditional institution. There are a lot of places that offer online studies but I, personally, had my reservations on how well those degrees would be accepted in the business world. I found that the University of Tennessee at Martin provided the path for me. I highly recommend them for those that have demanding schedules yet strive for an challenging experience in obtaining a higher education.
Except for a short stint or two driving a truck (yes, I have a Class A CDL) I have worked in the technical field since leaving WKU early in 1996. My experiences have allowed me to successfully complete several industry recognized technical certifications. See the logos for each certification I hold. They are listed in order in which I earned them.
